The scientific achievements of Galileo Galilei speak for themselves, and the artistic achievements of off-Broadway’s Galileo, which opened February 24 at Classic Stage Company, are just as loud. Oscar winner F. Murray Abraham stars as the 17th century physicist, philosopher and revolutionary, who struggles with a scientist's social and ethical responsibility when confronted with Inquisition. After tackling the demanding title role in this Brecht play, Abraham enjoyed their opening night accomplishment with director Brian Kulick. Join these two artists in their post-show celebration, then head downtown to see Galileo for yourself.
